"Celebrate Animals is September 27th, 2008 from 8 am to 2 pm at the Heritage Park
in Sandy Springs located at 6075 Sandy Springs Circle, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
The event features a 1 mile walk, a compilation of animal related businesses (79
in 2007) and a super pet adoption where 147 dogs and cats were adopted from 32
rescue groups last year alone. In addition there will be live music and
entertainment as well as food and drinks. The family fun zone provides enjoyable
games and educational information. Walk participants will be able to enter their
pet and themselves in the Parade of Pets for costume and obedience contests.
Everyone will have the chance to win fun prizes and awards, take their picture
with their pets and take home free products from participating exhibitors. For
