Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue is a 501C3 Not-for-Profit Organization.
When a dog comes into Rescue, funds must be
spent on neutering/spaying, vaccinations, (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella),
screening for Heartworms, a fecal check and Microchipping. Vetting expenses
on a healthy animal can run as high as $200. More than half of the
dogs that come into our program are not healthy and we must provide the
treatment the original owners either didn't choose to or could not afford.
We pay to set broken bones, treat Heartworms, and all sorts of illnesses and
injuries. In some cases, the sicker dogs that we receive can cost as much as
$900 to treat. We do not turn dogs away because they are sick.
If you would like to make a tax deductible
donation to help fund our cause, please click the PayPal button below. PayPal is fast, free, and secure.
Your donation will go directly to help save a gray dog in our rescue.
Remember, our Rescuers are unpaid volunteers
with full time jobs and families to care for, just like you. We do not
have kennel facilities nor do we receive financial help from the government.
The cost to care for rescued Weims comes strictly from fundraising events or
private donations.
The gray dogs thank you for your support and
so do we, the Rescuers.
